Job Application – Paralegal 

Philip DeBerard, Injury Attorney is seeking an experienced personal injury pre-suit paralegal for their main office in Stuart, Florida, to help injured clients receive fair compensation for physical and/or mental injury resulting from negligence. Will train the right person.

Job duties will include initial client interview, investigation, interviewing clients and witnesses, monitoring medical expenses, lost wages and other damages; gather and evaluate medical records; consult with clients and their medical providers regarding medical treatment and future medical needs; maximize available insurance coverage, scheduling, prepare closing statements and process settlements; develop and maintain effective working relationship with medical and legal professionals in the local community to improve referral rates; maintain contact with former clients to secure repeat business.

Position requires: minimum of 3 years personal injury experience, strong interpersonal skills, time management, meticulous attention to detail, organizational skills, excellent writing, communication, and typing skills, drive and determination. Must be a self-starter. Experience with Aderant Total Office/Client Profiles, Word Perfect, Excel is a plus. Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus.
