The Palm Beach Post is reporting that two people suffered serious injuries in a two-vehicle crash that occurred in outer West Palm Beach.

The accident happened Wednesday morning at approximately 10:30 AM at Belvedere and Skees roads, just west of Florida’s Turnpike.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office states that the accident happened when Royal Palm Beach resident Stella Kinsburg, 87, drove through a red light at Belvedere and Skees roads, causing her to crash into a vehicle driven by Michael Mahovich, a 49 year old suburban West Palm Beach resident.

Kinsburg was received by St. Mary’s Medical Center with critical injuries. Mahovich was also transported to St. Mary’s with serious injuries.

The accident investigation is ongoing. We will have more information on this accident as it becomes available.
