The TCPalm.com is reporting that one woman is in serious condition after a Monday morning crash at Edwards Road and South 25th Street, according to the St. Lucie County Fire District.

Officials with the District stated that they responded at approximately 6:00 AM to a rollover crash at the aforementioned intersection.

A gray minivan had completely turned over and was balancing on a fire hydrant, an authority with the District stated. Two vehicles were involved in the crash but the circumstances behind the crash were not stated by TCPalm or those details are not yet known.

Fire District spokeswoman Brenda Stokes commented that the minivan driver was taken in serious condition to a trauma center. It is not known from the TCPalm report if the driver’s injuries are life-threatening.

It is presumed that the accident investigation is continuing.
