WPTV.com reports that Port St. Lucie resident Jeremy Rodriguez, 24, died at Lawnwood Regional of injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash shortly after 1:00 p.m. on Monday morning.
Local police say that the motorcycle Rodriguez was riding directly struck a Lincoln at the intersection of Cameo Boulevard and Port St. Lucie Boulevard. Rodriguez was not wearing a helmet. Port St. Lucie police say he was thrown off his motorcycle because of the crash and experienced grievous injuries as a result. He was declared deceased upon his arrival at the Medical center.
The automobile driver was also injured, but not to any grave extent. Her name is Dolores Marie Fleming. She is 89 and also a resident of Port St. Lucie.
