This is an update to an earlier post. The Florida Highway Patrol is now reporting that Jeanie Yarington and Brian Mull have both passed away.
The Florida Highway Patrol originally reported that three people were critically injured yesterday when the vehicle they were in left the roadway, collided with a fence, became airborne, and traveled over a canal.
The FHP says the accident happened on County Road 512 (Armory Road) and Fellsmere Farm Road in Indian River County. Authorities state that the driver of the vehicle, David Yarrington, 33, of Fellsmere, failed to observe the stop sign at the intersection of Fellsmere Farm Road and CR-512. His car proceeded to run off the roadway and eventually came to rest in a canal.
While Yarrington suffered only minor injuries, Jeanie Yarrington, 32, of Largo, has now been pronounced as deceased. A second passenger, a young boy of four, David Yarrington, is in critical condition as of last report. A toddler, age one, Brian Mull, has died of his injuries.
We will have more information on this as it becomes available.
