In a tersely worded report, the Florida Highway Patrol released details of an accident that occurred at 8:16 PM on March 3, 2018 in Indian River County.

According to the FHP, Millicent Peak, a 67 year old female from Fort Pierce, was driving north in a BMW sedan in the southbound lane of SR 5 north of Turnpike Feeder Road. At the same time, David Seniva, 21, of Lawnwood was proceeding southbound on SR 5 on his motorcycle. The two vehicles collided head on, killing Seniva. Peak was uninjured.
