In an official press release, the FHP states that at 4:16 P.M., at the intersection of SE 128th Avenue and State Route 710, four vehicles were involved in a deadly chain reaction automobile accident.
Killed was Caroline Celeste Alfano, 20, of Boca Raton who was driving a 2015 Honda. Also killed was a passenger in her car, a female whose identification is pending notification of next of kin.

UPDATE: The FHP says Alfano’s passenger was Nicole Scherton, 23, of Germany.
