The Florida Highway patrol reports that Richard Randolph, 69, from Boca Raton, died after falling from a bridge on Congress Avenue and I-95 in Boca Raton.

The FHP states Mr. Randolph, an employee of Emerald Towing in Pompano Beach, was working at the scene of an overturned tractor trailer. In order to secure the trailer so it could be uprighted, he apparently stepped over a wall on the bridge and onto a concrete area . It is from here that Randolph fell onto the southbound shoulder of I-95.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Everyone at DeBerard Injury Attorney are sad and upset over this tragic death. We wish the best for the friends and family of the victim. All workplaces, even those that are inherently dangerous, must not lead naturally to bodily injury or loss of life. Depending on the circumstances, especially when negligence is involved, a wrongful death claim may be warranted.
