Robert Griffey Identified as Automobile Traffic Crash Victim on Southwest Rosser Boulevard in Port St. Lucie

According to police reports and WPBF.com, 16-year-old Robert Griffey has been identified as the pedestrian victim in an automobile accident that occurred Thursday night in Port St. Lucie.

The accident occurred at the intersection of Southwest Rosser Boulevard and Southwest Apricot Road.

Officials state Griffey was standing at or around a road median at 10:30 p.m. when he was struck by a vehicle. He was transported to Lawnwood Regional Hospital, however, he soon died of his injuries.

Police say the driver of the vehicle is cooperating with the investigation.
