Motorcyclist Ernesto Coronel Killed After Being Struck by Car on North Congress in Boynton

According to the PalmBeachPost.com, Ernesto Coronel , 45, of Boynton Beach, died Friday when a van turned into his motorcycle. The accident occurred at the intersection of North Congress Avenue and Mall Access Road E in Boynton Beach.

Police state that a van driven by Shannon Flores turned left in front of Coronel’s motorcycle. This happened as Flores was proceeding through the intersection during a yellow light. Flores was hospitalized with chest pains.

The accident remains under investigation.
