Mar 2, 2016 Posted by in Personal Injury, Train Accident

TCPalm.com reports that Robert Walroth, 63, was killed Monday evening when he was struck by a Florida East Coast Railway Train in Jensen Beach. His wife Carol had called sheriff’s deputies at 7:30 p.m. to report him missing. At one point she briefly got in touch with him by phone, however, the connection was lost and he was not heard from again.

The train conductor told authorities that he saw Walroth lying on the tracks but was unable to stop the train in time. A toxicology report has been ordered but it may take weeks before the results come in. The accident investigation is continuing. We will have more information here as it becomes available.

We at DeBerard Injury Attorney wish to extend our condolences to everyone touched by this tragic accident. We know that a death like this can have an impact on friends and family that can last a lifetime.
