Pedestrian Jayden Readon Killed Due To Automobile Accident Along Miner Road in Boyton

According to the, Lex Lugard Eugene, faces multiple charges today for a crash he was involved in Saturday afternoon.

Police told the that Eugene, 20, evaded police after they attempted to stop him for reckless driving.  Shortly after his flight, Eugene “lost control” of his Buick on Miner Road, sending it plowing through a fence near Rolling Green Elementary School. The accident happened near the intersection of Miner and Summit Roads.

Walking along the sidewalk with his grandparents when the crash happened was 5-year old Jayden Readon, He was struck by Eugene’s car and killed.

The driver faces charges including, among others, felony murder, leaving the scene of a crash, and driving without a valid license. Aggravated fleeing and eluding, heroin trafficking, and possession of a controlled substance are also involved, as well as resisting arrest.
