Clinton Griffin killed in Okeechobee Car Versus Motorcycle Accident

Sep 5, 2015 Posted by in Car Accident, Motorcycle Accident

The Florida Highway Patrol reports that 46 year old Clinton Griffin of Okeechobee was killed today when his motorcycle was struck from behind while on US 441.

Lisa Kramer, 45, also of Okeechobee, failed to slow down for Griffin who was stopped on the road, waiting to make a left hand turn into a driveway. Kramer’s 2003 Kia then collided into the back of Griffin’s motorcycle.

Kramer fled the scene at “a high rate of speed.” Okeechobee Sheriff’s Deputies later found her car about five to ten miles from the accident. She was uninjured in the crash but Griffin was pronounced dead at Raulerson Hospital.

The accident remains under investigation.
