The PalmBeachPost.com and the Palm Beach County Sherriff’s office report that one person was killed and another person was seriously injured when a motorcycle collided with an automobile on Monday morning in Lake Worth, FL.

Christopher Halfhill and his passenger, Tonya Maag, both of Lake Worth, were on a Honda motorcycle going northbound on the Dixie Highway past 15th Street around nine o-clock when they were cut off by a Chevy Cruze driven by Philip Ducharme.

Maag and Halfhill, 30 and 31, respectively, were both thrown from the motorcycle upon impact. Neither was wearing a helmet. Maag was declared dead at the scene and Halfhill was transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center with major injuries.

Ducharme was uninjured. The Sheriff’s report stated that drugs or alcohol were not involved in the crash.
